The 2010-11 Braintree and District Table Tennis League will again operate the Play-off format from last season, despite there being 1 fewer team this season. The format aims to provide varied, competitive table tennis through the entire season.
For the first stage of the season there will be 3 divisions of 8/9/9 teams playing 2 rounds of matches. There will then be a 4 week period when the early stages of the cup competitions will be played. The league will then be split into 4 divisions of 6/6/7/7 teams for 1 more round of matches which will then be followed in the next 3 weeks by the knockout stages and finals of the cup competitions. Please refer to the ‘League Structure Explanation’ document below for a detailed explanation of the mid-season promotion/relegation procedure, and other details.
