The top players in the League can test their abilities against the best that the other Leagues in the area have to offer, in the annual Inter-League competition.
The Braintree League enters representative teams in the Junior, Mens and Veterans age groups.
Veterans: The B and C teams struggled in their respective divisions in 2007/8, after both achieved promotion in the previous season, both ending up being relegated. The A team also achieved promotion in 2006/7 but held their Div 1 status with a solid 3rd place finish.
Mens: The Mens team finished a close 2nd in Division 1 for the second consecutive year. This year Ilford were the victors where Southend had succeeded a year earlier. Braintree will be looking to go one step better in 2008/9.
Junior: Braintree’s Junior side ended Colchester A’s firm hold on the Inter-League title. They dropped just 6 sets out of 40 on their way to securing the title.
